Fieldlines and this website are made by Field and Coast Department LLC ("Field & Coast Dept.", "we").

Fieldlines doesn't collect your data. No accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, no third-party SDKs.

Your scripts

Scripts are stored on your device. If iCloud sync is turned on, they're also stored in your own private iCloud account, which only you can access. We never see them.

Camera and microphone

Fieldlines uses the camera only to show your shot behind the script and to record video when you press record. It uses the microphone for voice follow (scrolling while you talk) and to record audio with your video. Everything is processed on your device. Voice follow listens only to how loud the room is. It does not turn speech into text, and nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.

Recordings

Videos you record are saved to your Photos library (iPhone and iPad) or your Movies folder (Mac). They never leave your device unless you share them.

Importing

Files you import are read on your device. Scanned PDFs are turned into text on your device. If you import a Google Docs link, Fieldlines downloads that document's text directly from Google. Nothing else is sent.

Local network

Remote control uses your local network (or a direct Wi-Fi or Bluetooth link) to connect your own devices to each other. Commands go straight between your devices, never through a server.

The free web teleprompter

The web teleprompter runs entirely in your browser. Your script is never saved or sent anywhere, and it's gone when you close the page. Your prompter settings are kept in your browser's local storage so they're there next time. If you turn on the camera, the video stays in your browser and is never recorded or uploaded. Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site.

Children

Fieldlines doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be in the app and on this page with a new effective date.
